I always thought I would birth at least 4 or 5 children :). Growing up and as a young teacher I would always take students home with me. My mom would say "who's child do you have today"I knew as a teen that I would work with children and families. In college I had two names picked out for my preschool (Tender Loving Care – Hugs and Love). Even though I never opened a preschool the Lord has allowed me to impact children and families in a bigger way globally. Even when God changes the way or direction of your purpose and destiny, His plan is always perfect. When I look back over my life I'm so glad I allowed Him to lead.

When we let go, He truly blesses the works of our hands! My plans weren't bad, but His will is always perfect for us, even when we don't understand. As a child I knew my purpose and calling was global. During this journey I have met many along the way that helped me see it clearer. These amazing people include, teachers, political leaders, African leaders, celebrities, Pastors, community leaders, and some amazing young people.
Even though I birthed only one child (Roland Jr) who is continuing to grow into a great young man, I also have hundreds of children in US (YLLC.org) and Africa (adassaadumorifoundation.org ) that have been a part of the purpose and destiny that I was born for. So when you are thinking it will happen in a certain way remember God may have another way He wants to do it. I look forward to seeing what else He has in this next season of my life. What I see so far is AMAZING!! #EXCITED!!

Let Go and Let God
As Children Bring Their Broken Toys
With Tears For Us To Mend
I Brought My Broken Dreams To God,
Because He Is My Friend
But Then Instead Of Leaving Him
In Peace To Work Alone,
I Hung Around And Tried To Help,
With Ways That Were My Own
At Last, I Snatched Them Back Again
And Cried, "How Can You Be So Slow?"
"My Child" He Said, "What Could I Do?
You Never Did Let Go!" Author Unknown

Faith seeks God and His Kingdom first.

Hebrews 11:1 - Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Hebrews 11:1-3
Is certain of Gods promises Heb 11: 1-3
Is confident of Gods Power Heb 11:1
Perceives the divine design Heb 11:3
Acts on Gods Promises Heb 11:8-22
Esteems Christ Above all Heb 11:26

When we believe what God has promised in His Word, we possess the title-deed to whatever it is that He has promised. That thing is ours, it belongs to us. Because we have believed God’s promise, we have every right and expectation to see it come to pass. It makes no difference whether or not we have seen it yet, it belongs to us anyway.

Faith stands on God's Word.

Faithpoint: Do you have faith that what God says is true? What promises of God are you specifically believing Him for? Do you expect to see them happen, or are you still uncertain? Remember that faith (believing the Word of God) is your title-deed to what God has promised, and then your hope will be sure. Jeff Doles

Faith releases Kingdom authority.

This is a year when anything is possible and you will be able to accomplish things that are greater than you may believe. God is releasing a new strength for us to do the impossible and to break through the obstacles that have held us back in the past.

Faith is like radar that sees through the fog. ~Corrie Ten Boom,

Faith is putting all your eggs in God's basket, then counting your blessings before they hatch. ~Ramona C. Carroll

Dear Family & Friends,

It is 2011, another school year has started and there is a panic in the streets of rural communities in Africa. They hear rumbling echoes of young children, worried if they will ever get a chance to see the insides of school again. I feel their desperate young little hearts crying in the middle of the night, refusing to be comforted as they eat what may very well become their last meal for the week. I am haunted by visions of children who have become fatherless and motherless as diseases have robbed them of their parents. They are wondering if anyone cares ....they are wondering if anyone cares enough to give them the most important gifts of all, HOPE and a BRIGHT FUTURE.

The Girl That Will Not Be Forgotten

It reminds me of the young girl above who put her hands on my FACE and said “DON’T FORGET ME”. I will be returning to Africa on June 23, 2011.

Will you be the one to care enough to HELP? Will you be the one to provide a HOT MEAL for one? Will you take up the challenge to send one to SCHOOL? Will you be the one to provide a place where children can come together to learn? Can you help us make sure they are no longer missing in ACTION of Life? You can help by making a donation to my mission fund @ www.adassafoundation.org . Living My Best Life

Yolanda Conley Shields

Welcome to 2011!

"Let's keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps His Word" (Heb. 10:23, The Message). We know we will not be disappointed, for "all the promises of God in [Christ] are Yes, and in [Christ] Amen" (2 Cor. 1:20, NKJV).

As I think about the many things that took place this year I think about the Tennessee flood of 2010, goals not achieved, great accomplishments and the many blessings.  A new year has arrived, bringing with it our chance for a new beginning. Today is the day we write our list of old habits, and new challenges that we will work on. Forget Resolutions this year get RESULTS........ Resolutions only require words but Results require ACTION!!!

Africa Mission Work
I will not worry about yesterday or obsess about tomorrow. I will set far-reaching goals and pray for God’s wisdom and guidance to walk them out. Take risk today and don’t put limits on what you can accomplish this year. Meet new people, do something you have wanted to do for years, take care of promises made, improve your health, travel, and get involved in your community or internationally to impact someone else. When we take the focus off of ourselves AMAZING things happen.

Never measure God’s unlimited power by your limited expectations or resources. He is the Lord, “who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think” Eph.3:20) Believe and declare you will see every dream, every desire, every promise God put in your heart come to pass! This is a year when anything is possible and you will be able to accomplish things that are greater than you may believe. God is releasing a new strength for us to do the impossible and to break through the obstacles that have held us back in the past. Philippians 4:13 I can do everything through Him who gives me strength. I feel a fresh wind of FAVOR, ANOINTING, AND POWER FOR 2011.

Living My Best Life!
Blessed is she who has believed that what the Lord has said to her will be accomplished! Luke 1:45.

Get ready this year will be AMAZING!!
