Living a Life of Obedience and Purpose

Living a Life of Obedience and Purpose

The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.” Psalm 32:8 NLT

Another year has passed and where are you with what you know you are called to do. This is the year to complete what you have not or have dreamed of doing. If you are called to business, education, government, or ministry walk in it today.

2012 -The number 12 represents divine authority and appointment, as well as governmental foundation and perfection, and shows completeness. I continue to be amazed at the move of God in my life. He continues to surprise me daily. It is like unwrapping a gift each day. The things people didn’t think would happen, God said YES!

As I go into this year of 2012 I will continue to TRUST His plan for the things that I know He will do this year. His timing is PERFECT but the waiting is sometimes hard. Hang in there! This is the year of divine appointments and completion of things you have been waiting for. Are you ready to take your assignment and complete what you are called to do or the things you know has been promised for you?

Amazing things will happen as you learn to recognize God's signposts in your life, put your feet on His path, and commit yourself to follow where He leads. Psalm 37:4 says "Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart." When you truly seek Him and delight yourself in Him, God will provide you the passions of your heart.

Those passionate desires of your heart are BIG clues for you to discover your own God-given talents. In my devotional time Psalm 139 kept going through my head - "O Lord you have searched me and you know me" - I was reminded that He knows us completely and He loves us incredibly - also verse 23, "Search me O God and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts" which took me to Philippians where Paul says to be anxious about nothing - my being anxious dilutes my trust when I pray. He is so gracious - I am praying for each of you and your family!

Remember to keep praying and ask Him where He wants you to go. As you pray and delight in Him, God will give you the desires and passions of your heart. Those are clues for you to do ultimately for HIS glory.

Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night . . . . Then you will have good success. —Joshua 1:8
