Young Social Entrepreneur on the Rise

Young Social Entrepreneur on the Rise

Esther Nzuzi

Because you are wonderfully made

Social Entrepreneurship is about solving a problem, not just starting a company. While this isn't a new idea, today's young entrepreneurs have the advantage of being able to go global quickly because of the Internet.

The new generation of entrepreneurs are, creating new products and services that will change the world.  They want to have a great profitable business, but they also want to make a big impact that will change the world. Esther Nzuzi uses women and girls in the DRC Congo to assist with the production of the products. One way EN assisted with this was the partnership with Luila Village Ministries to purchase sewing machines.

Esther’s mission in life is to help youth develop an appreciation for themselves into a way that they may cultivate a creative mind, pure soul, and skilled hands. As a result, that each may flourish into the ability to inspire, train, and empower others. To achieve this goal, Esther created Esther Nzuzi.

Esther Nzuzi is a social enterprise aimed to inspire girls across the world to embrace their self-worth.

What type of products does Esther Nzuzi sell?
For the moment, Esther Nzuzi only sells african inspired bags. Esther Nzuzi is known for its convenient, comfortable, and colorful cross shoulder bags. They serve as a perfect gift; the bags can be used as anything from a dance bag to a casual hanging-out-with-friends bag. The lightweight bags are big enough to store anything from shoes to sweaters to books to makeup. Check out my purses here:

Esther Nzuzi works directly with Luila Village Ministries, a 501(c) non-profit that aims to empower women, educate children, and spread the gospel in Luila, Democratic Republic of Congo and surrounding villages. A percentage of all profits received from each sale at Esther Nzuzi will be given to Luila Village Ministries. You may stay updated with Luila Village Ministries by following them on facebook or by signing up for their newsletter.

Young Entrepreneurs on the Move ~ Character Visits 4 U

You’re never too young to start your own business. If you are looking for great entertainment for your children’s party or events you need to contact Character Visits 4 U Email: and on Facebook

Peyton-Larae Chevalier – always had a dream in her heart.  At age 4 while visiting Orlando and having breakfast with the princesses (while dressed as Cinderella), told Princess Cinderella, “I’m going to have your job one day!” 10 years later, with the encouragement of family and partnership of her like-minded friend and fellow actress, Elizabeth Golden, that profession of faith became a reality.

In the Fall of 2013, Peyton-Larae and Elizabeth each had their favorite fairytale character that they wanted to portray and take to visit children in hospitals or those who otherwise needed a bit of enchantment to encourage them.  They began making their costumes for Alice in Wonderland and Beauty from Beauty and the Beast and studying every detail of the characters.  Word got around of their intentions and a local party place contacted them about bringing characters to their open play nights and offering characters at private parties.  Feb 21, 2014 was their public debut.

A local bookstore scheduled them to greet children at a special event and the line was 4 hours long. Almost 1 year and a half later, they are booked nearly every weekend at parties, businesses and community events.  They have brought other actors alongside them to expand the character list and currently offer 23 characters with more in the planning stages.  They keep charity at the forefront and purpose to schedule charity visits each month.  Quality, integrity and keeping the focus on the children is their main goal while fulfilling the dream God put in their hearts and equipped them to accomplish through the talents and gifts He has given them.

If you have young children or teens that are interested in starting their own business, make sure you encourage and support them. I look forward to seeing these young women do amazing things in business and in life. Keep working hard Peyton-Larae and Elizabeth. It will pay off.
